McLennan recognise the significant benefits Building Information Modelling (BIM) brings to large scale projects including cost savings to the capital and operational expenditure of a building’s life.

We are developing systems and processes to be part of our practice policy and BIM Implementation Plan in 2020.

As a practice we invest heavily in software and training, so all our technical staff are highly proficient in the use of Autodesk REVIT and we are continuously improving systems to monitor the quality of our BIM output and the ongoing training needs of our staff.

In addition to the capital and operational benefits we see in delivering the architectural drawing information in BIM we also recognise the significant benefits that BIM will bring in terms of clash detection during the design phase and the added benefits to the client that the embedded asset information will provide over the lifetime of a project.
