Springkerse Trade Park, Allan Water Developments
The McLennan Partnership have worked with Allan Water Developments on many and varied projects over a number of years and have in fact had a working relationship for over 30 years.
This project consisted of us designing a new build light Industrial Trade Park off Kerse Road in Stirling.
The project consisted of 11no. shell units with terraced units ranging from 3000 – 6000sqft with shared yard space and individual units varying in size from 8000 – 12000sqft that are self-contained and have there own parking and yard space. Ample public parking are provided to all units and on there successful completion a variety of tenants have occupied the units from a Greggs Bakery, J&W Carpets and Halfords Autocentre to name a few.
As a result of the successful completion of this project we then undertook the fit-out of 3 of the units for new tenants, completing designs and local authority consents.
The McLennan Partnership were also appointed as the Principle Designer on this project and we carried out the service to plan, manage, monitor and coordinate the Health and Safety aspects of the design phase of this project, compiling and providing the pre-construction info and liaising with the Principle Contractor, steel fabricators and sub-contractors involved in the mezzanine design.

Works were competed to a tight programme and within budget and we undertook a site inspection role during the construction phase to assist the client and ensure that the fit-out contractor delivered the design to the exacting storage requirements of the client.
